1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the EazyRyde Mobile platform (website and mobile applications), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

• Riders must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid means of identification.
• Drivers must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Nigerian driver’s licence, and pass EazyRyde Mobile’s vehicle and background verification process.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Services

EazyRyde Mobile provides a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers. We are not a transportation company and do not provide transport services directly. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of EazyRyde Mobile.

5. Fares & Payment

• Fares are determined by the agreed bid between the rider and driver, factoring in distance, vehicle type, and demand.
• Payment may be made via cash, card, or wallet as available on the platform.
• For cash transactions, the driver collects the fare directly. EazyRyde Mobile charges a 15% company commission on cash fares, payable by the driver after every 5 completed cash trips.
• Failure to remit the company commission may result in a warning notification followed by account suspension.

6. Driver Settlement & Suspension

Drivers who complete 5 or more cash trips since their last settlement are required to remit the outstanding company commission. EazyRyde Mobile will issue a warning. Continued failure to settle may result in:

• Restriction from placing bids on new ride requests.
• Restriction from viewing route and trip details.
• Full account suspension at the administrator’s discretion.

Suspended drivers retain access to their account and profile but cannot participate in rides until the outstanding amount is settled and the suspension is lifted.

7. Cancellations

Both riders and drivers may cancel a trip before or during the ride. Excessive cancellations may result in penalties or temporary restrictions at EazyRyde Mobile’s discretion.

8. User Conduct

All users agree to:

• Treat other users with respect and courtesy.
• Not engage in illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
• Not use the platform for any purpose other than ride-hailing.
• Provide truthful ratings and reviews.

9. Safety & Liability

While EazyRyde Mobile takes reasonable measures to verify drivers and vehicles, we do not guarantee the safety of any trip. EazyRyde Mobile is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of our services. Users ride at their own risk.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology on the EazyRyde Mobile platform are the property of EazyRyde Mobile and are protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, non-payment of obligations, or behaviour that endangers the safety or reputation of the platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
